I built this because other entrepreneurship programs weren't meeting women where they were at, they weren't flexible enough to be designed around each individual.
I'm Lorelle Woods. My background includes developing and facilitating the introductory entrepreneurship program at YWCA Houston, work that led to our organization being selected to host the WE360 Conference, a national women's entrepreneurship event. Through pitch competitions and coaching, the women I've worked with have collectively won more than $50,000 in business funding, with sponsorship support from companies including Coca-Cola and Comcast.
But credentials were never the whole story. Like a lot of the women this program is built for, my own path didn't move in a straight line, a season of motherhood reshaped everything I thought came next, and I had to find my own way back to building something of my own before I could help anyone else do it.
That's exactly why The Launch Blueprint exists. Not a program built from theory, but one built from actually living the in-between, the wanting to start, the not knowing how, and the work of finding the steps anyway.
Before you join
The things women ask most before saving their spot.
What's actually different between the Express and Full track?
Full is for the woman starting from zero who wants the complete runway, from validating her idea to launching it. Express is for the woman who's already started something and is ready to refine her plan and grow faster. If you don't have a validated idea yet, Full is the better fit.
Do I need a business idea already, or can I join with nothing yet?
You don't need anything yet. The Full track is built specifically for women starting from zero, the first phase is dedicated to identity, mindset, and idea validation.
I already have an LLC and some revenue, can I still join?
Yes. Express is designed for exactly that, women who already have an LLC, some revenue, or an existing business and want to refine and grow it faster.
What platform do we meet on, and is this really fully virtual?
We meet on Zoom, and yes, it's completely virtual. You can join from anywhere.
What happens if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded, and you'll always have access to the recording no matter what. Live attendance matters though, since each session includes live coaching you can't get from a recording, so the expectation is you show up unless something genuinely comes up, and you give a heads up when it does.
What if there's a mix of days that work for different people?
I take the most common day and time across the group. If there's a real split, the cohort may run on two different days that round, so everyone gets a time that actually works.
When is payment due?
Tuition is due before your cohort starts.
Is tuition refundable if I can't continue?
Yes, if you cancel before your cohort's first session. Once the cohort begins, tuition is non-refundable, but if something serious comes up, reach out and we'll figure out the right next step together.
Is there any confidentiality among cohort members?
Yes, real business confidentiality. Every participant signs a confidentiality agreement before the cohort begins.
Is the legal and funding guidance actual legal advice?
No. WLA educates on legal matters as part of the curriculum, but you should still seek professional legal help for your specific situation.
Does WLA take any cut of my business or funding I raise?
No. WLA does not take any equity or percentage of your business or any funding you go on to raise.
What do I walk away with at the end?
A certificate of completion at graduation, plus eligibility for future pitch competitions open to all program alumni.
Is there anything after the program ends?
Yes. Graduates are eligible for future pitch competitions, and all program alumni get a chance to pitch.
Can I really do this while working full time, or while life is genuinely chaotic right now?
Yes. This program is built around designing the pace and structure of work around each individual, that's the whole premise, not an exception to it.
Can my organization sponsor a group of women instead of them paying individually?
Yes, partner with WLA directly and we'll set up a fully packaged curriculum for the women your organization already serves.
